Privacy Policy
Effective October 26, 2026
This policy explains what information Entira collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this website (entira.io), the Entira app (app.entira.io and each workspace's own address), and the email Entira sends.
If anything here is unclear, email [email protected].
Two kinds of information
Information about our customers. When a business signs up for Entira, we collect information about the business and the people on its team so we can run their account. We are responsible for this information.
Information our customers keep in Entira. Businesses use Entira to keep records about their own customers: tickets, messages, contacts, calls and orders. That information belongs to the business. We store and process it only to provide Entira to that business and as they direct. If you are a customer of a business that uses Entira and you have a question about your information, contact that business first. If you can't reach them, email us and we'll help where we can.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, the name of your business and workspace, and your password. We store passwords in a form that can't be read back.
- Content you add to Entira: tickets, emails, chat messages, help center articles, contacts, accounts, opportunities, call recordings, voicemail, products, orders, invoices and files you upload.
- Sign-in and security records: the time of each sign-in, your IP address and browser details. We use these to keep accounts secure and to investigate problems.
- Cookies in the app: the app uses cookies that keep you signed in and protect forms. It does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
- Messages to us: what you send when you email [email protected].
This website has no analytics, no tracking and no cookies. Like any website, our hosting provider receives your IP address and browser details when it delivers a page to you.
How we use information
- To provide Entira, keep it running and fix problems.
- To send account email (see below).
- To keep Entira secure and prevent abuse, including spam.
- To answer your questions and give you support.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We never sell or rent email addresses or any other personal information. We don't use the information our customers keep in Entira for advertising.
Email we send
Account email from Entira
Entira sends these emails only to the person who took the action:
- Sign-up confirmations, when you create an account.
- Sign-in codes, when you ask to sign in with a code.
- Password resets, when you ask to reset your password.
- Invitations, sent only to the address a member of a workspace entered to invite that person to their team.
These emails are needed to use your account, so they don't have an unsubscribe link. We don't add these addresses to marketing lists.
Email our customers send through Entira
Businesses use Entira to email their own customers: replies to support tickets, notifications, and marketing campaigns. The business decides who to email and what to say. Our Terms of Service require businesses to send marketing email only to people who agreed to receive it.
- Unsubscribing: every marketing email sent through Entira includes an unsubscribe link, and supports one-click unsubscribe in email programs that offer it. Once you unsubscribe, that business can't send you more marketing email through Entira. Replies to your own support requests may still reach you.
- Opens and clicks: marketing email sent through Entira can record when it is opened and which links are clicked, so the business can see how its campaigns perform.
- Bounces and complaints: if an address bounces permanently, or the recipient marks a message as spam, Entira stops sending email to that address.
Who we share information with
- Service providers that help us run Entira: hosting and storage, email delivery, and the telephone carrier that connects calls. They may use information only to provide their service to us.
- The business you work with. Information in a workspace is visible to the members of that workspace.
- Entira staff, only when needed to run and secure the service, or to give support. Staff can open a workspace only when one of its administrators has turned on support access in the workspace's security settings.
- When the law requires it, such as a valid court order, or to protect people from harm.
- If Entira is sold or merged, information would pass to the new owner under this policy.
How long we keep information
We keep account information while the account is open. Businesses control the information in their workspace and can delete it at any time; for example, a workspace can choose to delete call recordings automatically after a set number of days. When an account is closed, we delete its information, except what we must keep for legal, security or accounting reasons.
Security
Connections to the Entira app and this website are encrypted. Access to customer information is limited to the people and systems that need it. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach that affects your information, we'll tell you as the law requires.
Your choices
- See, correct or export your information: most of it is in your account settings. For anything else, email [email protected].
- Delete your information: email [email protected] from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll confirm the request and reply within 30 days. If your information is in a business's workspace, we'll pass your request to that business.
- Stop marketing email: use the unsubscribe link in the email.
Children
Entira is a tool for businesses. It isn't meant for children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll also email account owners before it takes effect.
